WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California and other House Democrats are poised to pressure President Bush on his plan for deploying more troops to Iraq when they engage in a rare open-ended political dialogue with him tomorrow at their retreat at a posh resort here.

The last time I looked at some of your faces, I was at the State of the Union, and I saw kind of a strange expression when I referred to something as the Democrat Party.
